Il saxofono Custom EX rappresenta una risposta alla ricerca Yamaha di ottenere un suono ideale ed è il risultato di decenni di accurate ricerche e test con alcuni dei più famosi saxofonisti al mondo. Progettato pensando al saxofonista classico, questo strumento offre una risposta fluida, si suona in maniera confortevole e presenta un suono profondo e raffinato, ricco di colore. Il modello Custom EX presenta inoltre una grande flessibilità con un’ampia gamma dinamica e una straordinaria proiezione che riempie la sala con un suono corposo ed elegante.

Collo
Il saxofono YSS-875EX viene fornito con entrambi i colli dritto e curvo in modo da soddisfare le esigenze di qualsiasi esecutore.
Chiave del Sol acuto
La chiave del Sol acuto sullo YSS 875 EX consente di mantenere la normale diteggiatura di un saxofono soprano ma permette di eseguire proprio il Sol acuto (un semitono oltre quindi normale Fa# acuto) con grande sicurezza e stabilità.
Custodia
Questi saxofoni sono dotati di eleganti custodie ultraleggere che garantiscono una protezione eccellente. È inclusa anche una pratica tracolla.

Adjustable tear drop front F key
The unique tear-drop shaped F key improves playability. It is adjustable to players' preferences.
Mother of pearl key button
Mother of pearl is used as key buttons. It improves playability by making it easier to hold with soft but not slippery surface.
Seesaw key
The left-hand seesaw key has been designed to increase playability as well as provide a more comfortable feel.
One-piece bell
Crafsmen shape the bell from a sheet of brass with a hammer. This adds a unity to the body and makes the intonation in middle to lower range smoother. It also has a solid tone.
YSS-875EX
The Custom EX saxophone features a new ‘lily’ engraving design which is hand engraved on every instrument. Custom EX logo is the proof of craftmanship.
High G key (YSS-875EXHG)
The High “G” key on the YSS-875EX maintains the same functionality as on the original EX letting you comfortably play a high G (a semitone higher than usual soprano saxophones) with greater stability.
Case (SSC-875EX)
These saxophones come in deluxe ultra-lightweight cases which provide excellent protection. A convenient carrying strap is also included.
